Inspiration
The Monarch, Aspen, Colorado
This drink is inspired by a take on a Manhattan from the bar at The Monarch restaurant in Aspen, Colorado. It's a bit sweeter than a normal Manhattan because of the elderflower, and has a distinct flavor from the rose water. Be sure that you don't put too much of the rose water or it can seriously overwhelm the drink. Use it like bitters.
