I am a scientist by day and a foodie by night. Food and cooking were a cornerstone of my upbringing and remain my passion, in everything from holiday feasts at the family farm to experiencing local cuisines while traveling the world.
The Dynamic Dish is my love letter to the culinary journey. Food done right should never be static or boring but vibrant and delightful with every bite. I believe food and drink are sustenance not just for our bodies, but for mind and soul. Here you will find delicious and reliable recipes using fresh and wholesome ingredients. The recipes here ultimately run the gamut from the healthy and earthy to stuff-your-face decadent holiday fare, but primarily focus on healthful and low-carb options. Enjoy the site and get cooking!

- A native Texan, I now live in Southern California.
- A have a PhD in Geophysics from Caltech.
- I am a NASA scientist by day, where I study the interactions between the solid Earth, ice sheets, and oceans and their impact on Earth's gravity field.
- My favorite things include farmer's markets, anything with truffle, and poodles.
